The students …

  • will be able to differentiate substantial processes in construction project organizations and design construction project organizations
  • have an overview of bidding and tendering procedures of construction works and construction contracts
  • have an overview of the different construction methods of earthworks, construction of buildings and engineering structures as well as special foundation engineering
  • will be able to assess different construction methods basically and make a reasonable choice
  • will be able to create time schedules and construction site layouts
  • will be able to estimate the costs for construction works with the help of different calculation methods and fix prices as well as to apply BIM for the purposes of construction technologies and management
  • have an overview of the functions of the project controlling
  • have an overview of Lean Construction

  • Construction methods: earth- and groundworks, construction of buildings with the emphasis on formworks and supporting structures, bridge construction, tunneling and prefabricated construction
